CP+B Canada Nabs BIC Biz

By Kiran Aditham

A month after Crispin absorbed Toronto-based Zig and was rechristened CP+B Canada, the new agency announced that it’s won the Canadian creative and media business for BIC’s stationery, lighters and shavers lines.

CP+B Canada CEO Shelley Brown tells us that the agency first got involved with BIC after the brand “invited us to participate and have a credentials meeting.” Brown says that the review process took approximately six weeks and at least one other agency participated (we’re still trying to confirm names). The chief exec says that CP+B up north will be responsible for digital, TV, print, OOH, etc and adds that the agency will be getting together with its new client this week to map out plans. BIC’s Canadian account was previously handled by McCann Toronto.
