CP+B Adds Nichols to L.A. Team

It’s safe to say that it hasn’t been the best week at camp CP+B, but the agency continues to ramp up staff in Los Angeles nonetheless. The latest creative director to join the recently resurrected office is Jason Nichols, who arrives from Saatchi & Saatchi LA, where he was a CD working on integrated campaigns for Toyota.

When Nichols quit TBWA\Chiat\Day LA after just five months in late 2009, speculation was that he was headed to Austin to start his own shop. Obviously, now we know where he went to next, but during his brief stay at Chiat, Nichols helped develop Pepsi Refresh as an interactive CD. Before joining Chiat LA, Nichols was a copy director at R/GA, where he was involved with Nike Basketball and Livestrong as well as the global/U.S. launch of the Nokia Nseries. In a statement, CP+B worldwide CCO Rob Reilly says Nichols’ “massive digital chops and super-positive energy were hard to pass up.”
