Digital agency Code and Theory announced a series of management-level hires and promotions across its New York and London offices.

Michael Treff, managing partner in New York, has been promoted to the role of president. Treff joined Code and Theory back in September of 2011 and has helped the agency expand to include business and organizational consulting, an integrated data practice and industrial design and packaging. Before joining Code and Theory, he spent three years as a creative director with Soundscreen Design.

“In his 6 years at Code and Theory, Treff has touched all areas of the business and has had an indescribable positive effect on each one,” Code and Theory co-founder and CEO Dan Gardner said in a statement. “This new role couldn’t be more deserved and I look forward to his continued success and to the next chapter of Code and Theory.”

Todd joins the agency following three and a half years as a consultant with MET LDN, focusing on digital strategy, creative direction, branding and product design.

Tony Esposito joins Code and Theory as chief financial officer, based out of its New York office. He arrives at the agency following a short stint as managing partner at Ace Consulting Partners. Prior to that he spent nearly nine years as chief financial officer for W2O Group.

Code and Theory is also parting ways with co-founder and executive creative director Brandon Ralph, who leave the agency after over 16 years to pursue personal interests.

“Brandon has been an incredible partner and instrumental to the company’s success over the last 16 years and we wish him every success in his future endeavors,” Gardner said in a statement.
