Chris Brown’s Wrigley Ads ‘Suspended’ ‘Until the Matter is Resolved’, Milk Campaign Ends This Week

By Matt Van Hoven

Last summer, entertainer Chris Brown remixed his song, ‘Forever’ into a commercial for Wrigley’s Double Mint gum. Today, the company announced that they’ve suspended the ads containing Brown’s song, and the entertainer, “until the matter is resolved,” according to BrandWeek.

Of course, “the matter” refers to Brown’s alleged beating of girlfriend and fellow entertainer Rihannna.

Another brand utilizing Brown’s image, the Milk Mustache Campaign, has not announced whether or not it will drop the singer, but noted that the current ads bearing Brown’s image were set to come down this week anyway.
