BooneOakley Requires a Creative Intern with Video Chops

By Bob Marshall

After killing their former creative intern (who was a rabbit) with a rainbow, the folks at Charlotte-based agency BooneOakley, the AOR for, um Bojangles, are looking for a new, naive college student to fill the gap. As BO might be the only agency ever who has housed its official website on YouTube (but probably not), this “fearless intern” must be handy with a streaming video.

To apply for the internship, hopefuls must submit a video (no longer than two minutes) as a response to the above video on YouTube. Applicants are encouraged to use this as an opportunity to “show us what makes you uniquely ‘you’.” Most of all, be creative and have fun. Indicate if you’re interested in copywriting, art direction, digital or something we haven’t even thought of yet.” The winner will get a BooneOakley summer internship consisting of 30 hours of on-the-job training per week and a $500 stipend. Wait, $500 for the whole summer? Again, kiddies, this is Charlotte, not Madison Ave. You can get another part-time job to make it work.
