Bill Pauls Out at BBDO Atlanta

By Kiran Aditham

We apologize in advance for the shitty image, but AgencySpy has received confirmation that 10-year BBDO Atlanta vet Bill Pauls (pictured) is out as executive creative director at the agency.

Spies have been telling us that Pauls “got canned” last week, but sources familiar with the matter wouldn’t comment on whether he was shown the door or left of his own volition. Pauls joined BBDO Atlanta from JWT in 2000 and was eventually promoted from group creative director to ECD in 2002. Last year, Pauls along with then-fellow ECDs Bobby Pearce and Kyle Lewis weathered a 10% staff cut in the ATL and assumed the CCO responsibilities for Marcus Kemp, who was among those let go at the time. Pearce eventually took over as CCO at BBDO Atlanta this past February.
