Beaumont Health Names Doner Detroit as Its Agency of Record

$4.1 billion health system Beaumont Health, the largest in Michigan, selected Detroit-based Doner as its agency of record following a review. Doner will oversee all advertising and branding for the entity, which resulted from the September, 2014 merger of the Beaumont Health System, Oakwood Healthcare and Botsford Hospital.

“Beaumont Health brought three leading health care organizations together to create an exciting new future for health care in Michigan,” Beaumont Health marketing and communications officer Mark Bohen said in a statement. “We have turned to Doner to help us create a branding campaign that captures the power of the new Beaumont Health in improving the health, wellbeing and the lives of consumers throughout the region and beyond.”

“We are proud to have a model health care system right here in Michigan, and to be a part of making Beaumont Health an even stronger voice in the future of health care delivery,” added Doner CEO David DeMuth. “We look forward to partnering together to build their brand and mission both regionally and nationally.”

The account win sees Doner add to a healthcare portfolio that also includes the recent addition of Children’s Mercy Kansas City and Summa Health in Ohio. In the past year Doner also picked up AOR duties for Food Lion and named Eric Weisberg as its global CCO.
