Barbara Yolles Joins McCann Midwest as CMO

McCann Midwest announced that Barbara Yolles will take on the new post of CMO, effective May 25. Yolles will join McCann’s Birmingham, MI office from KBS+P, where she spent close to two years as EVP, managing director and was a lead on agency client work for the likes of TJX Corporation’s HomeGoods and Vanguard.

Yolles has also had two tours of duty at Doner in both the Southfield, MI and Baltimore, MD offices, spending five years from 1994-1999 as VP, account director and then another five from 2002-2007 as EVP, account management director where she oversaw client relationships with brands including Luxottica (LensCrafters), PetSmart, PNC Bank, Helzberg Diamonds and Six Flags.

In a statement, McCann Midwest CEO Garry Neel says the agency’s regional office is “well-positioned for growth in the next 12 months” and that Yolles–who’s also worked on the client side as a senior director of marketing at McDonald’s–will bring business development savvy as well as “the diverse skill set, enthusiasm and passion that’s needed to continue to expand our client portfolio.”

McCann Midwest’s current client roster includes ALDI, Colonial Williamsburg, GM Corporate, Saab and Sirius/XM.
