Atkatz Out at CP+B

The Crispin Porter + Bogusky-related news continues today as we’ve received confirmation that interactive creative director Matt Atkatz is no longer with the agency. Sources tell us that Atkatz, who was based out of CP+B’s Miami office, was “let go” from the agency yesterday, though all we’re being officially told as of now is that he’s indeed no longer there. During his two-year stint at Crispin, the native New Yorker worked on campaigns for MetLife among other accounts.

Prior to CP+B, Atkatz spent 18 months at 180 Amsterdam’s digital arm, Riot, as ECD, leading the interactive group on global accounts including Adidas, DHL, Amstel Beer, Western Union and Tommy Hilfiger. Perhaps most notably, though, Atkatz spent a few years as ECD, digital at Saatchi & Saatchi New York, during which time he led interactive creative on notable campaigns including “Beware of the Doghouse” for JCPenney and the “Red Wig” work for Wendy’s.
