22squared Takes Home Baskin-Robbins

Chalk up another win for ATL agencies as 22squared was awarded the Baskin-Robbins ad account once held by the now-defunct Cliff Freeman & Partners. In the process, 22squared (which also has an office in Tampa) beat out three other contenders including Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners, Ogilvy and Merkley + Partners in a review conducted by Boston-based Pile and Co.

In a statement, B-R’s Dave Nagel, who holds a post called, yes, Director of Brand Excitement, says, “As [Baskin Robbins co-founder] Irv Robbins used to say, ‘We don’t just sell ice cream. We sell fun.’ We are absolutely thrilled to be working with 22squared and look forward to creating work that delights our guests in creative and unexpected ways.”
