A month after naming Erik Sollenberg of Forsman & Bodenfors as its new global CEO, CP+B has recruited another high-profile Swede, Linus Karlsson, to be the agency’s global chief creative officer.

Karlsson made his name in the ’90s when he and Paul Malmstrom, aka “the Swedes,” came the U.S. and electrified the creative scene, first at Fallon and then at Mother New York, which they co-founded. Karlsson later served as McCann’s global CCO for several years, and recently has been running Ming, his own creative shop at the intersection of design, technology and entertainment.
