I saw 300 the night it opened and generally enjoyed it, repetitive and laden with ridiculous CGI abs though it was. Having said that, it must be a damn sight better than Blades of Glory, which promises to be little more than Talledega Nights on ice. I’m not sure how much longer Will Ferrell can save bad writing with his delivery, but I’m hoping his mysterious voodoo funny powers deplete soon so he can be cast in a real movie, not another annoying, plotless quote-fest.
