Last year Georgia rattled its citizens by introducing a second tagline, “Put your dreams in motion,” to complement its hugely popular and recognizable line, “Georgia on my mind.” Some wondered if state officials were losing their minds. This may not help: A bill introduced into the Georgia General Assembly proposes that Georgia name red clay as the official state dirt. The weird thing is, more than 15 other states have beaten Georgia to the punch.
