Visa joins the party with a new logo

Visa_logosFollowing the introduction of AT&T and Intel’s new looks, Visa has also unveiled a new brand logo, revising the blue, white and gold design for the first time in 30 years. “The new brand is designed to better reflect the broad range of electronic payment products provided by Visa’s Member financial institutions and the ever-expanding environments in which they’re accepted,” says the press release. How it accomplishes this is anyone’s guess. Maybe change is good for its own sake. Was the winged “V” in the new logo perhaps inspired by Van Halen?
