Universal unveils not-safe-for-work virals

BandcampUniversal Studios is promoting the DVD release of its latest American Pie movie, Band Camp, with a pair of Web sites “of an adult nature which may offend.” (Our company’s anti-smut software didn’t block this site, but it does have quite a bit of nudity.) At Cheerleader Charmer, you can get a cheerleader to strip by playing a simple keyboard game involving musical notes. At Bandies Gone Wild, you can direct your very own naughty American Pie movie by selecting scenes, characters (often lacking clothes), audio clips and Flash special effects. You can then put your name in the credits and e-mail your masterpiece to friends. Somehow the movie-making theme ties into the plot of Band Camp. You’ll have to wait until the DVD release in December to find out how.
