Travelocity gnome steps out for Halloween

Gnome Anyone catch the Travelocity gnome in New York’s Halloween Parade last night? The gnome may be missing from Travelocity’s latest advertising—check out—but it sure looks like he’s having a blast during his time off. Last night, he rode down New York City’s Avenue of the Americas like royalty, as the unofficial grand marshall for the 33rd Annual New York Village Halloween Parade. (The official grand masters were Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of Kiss.) Carried by two men who were supposed to look like they were bare-chested, the Gnome sat perfectly proud in his propped up chair with a clear view of his fans. Wonder where he’ll turn up next. Our money’s on any of the gay bars in Chelsea.
