Subaru still reaps rewards of gaming legacy
There's not much to this European ad for the 2009 Subaru Forester, but it is a nice homage to the video games that have helped drive the automaker’s success in recent years. When the Gran Turismo series of racing games was just picking up speed, Subaru was one of relatively few companies that recognized the potential of having its cars featured in-game. Today, the game has become just as much a marketing bonanza for Subaru as it is for Sony.
