Starbucks gets in the holiday season

Redcup3_1In Astor Place, just outside our offices here in New York, there are three Starbucks locations, if you count the one inside the Barnes and Noble. Now there’s also a huge Starbucks billboard advertising TheRedCup.com, a special holiday Web site that’s being updated daily with various games and viral diversions. Today’s feature is a Pac-Man type game in which you (as the red cup) cruise around a maze, gobbling coffee beans. It’s enjoyable enough, though it’d be better if it had four angry-looking Mud Trucks masquerading as Inky, Pinky, Blinky and Clyde.
