An acquaintance of mine was recently involved in an office affair. The whole thing ended badly on a number of levels, apparently after a significant other discovered an indiscreet e-mail. Which is why I found a recent survey by Lifetime Television kind of interesting. Two-thirds of the respondents admitted to spying on their partners, mainly over “suspicions of infidelity.” That alone says volumes about the state of relationships in America today. A load of respondents said one way they spied was by checking their partner’s e-mail.
