Being an embarrassingly big Neil Young fan, I was pleased to come across the trailer for Neil Young: Heart of Gold, the new concert film recorded in Nashville by Jonathan Demme. Considering what the Oscar-winning director did with Stop Making Sense and even Storefront Hitchcock, this new concert film should be a treat—better than Jim Jarmusch’s grainy and wobbly Year of the Horse, anyway. Demme has actually worked with Young before, on a short video piece from 1994 called The Complex Sessions.
