Real fast food is not ready for its closeup

Adsreality We all know the imagery in fast-food ads is exaggerated, but the visual evidence on this Fast Food: Ads vs. Reality blog post is harder to stomach than the food itself. I mean, just look at it. The burgers look like they’ve been stepped on. The cheese in this KFC bowl resembles something you’d see in an X-rated feature more than anything edible. Can’t say I like the looks of the fish sandwich either, but even the ads for that are gross. The overall effect here, I think, is akin to seeing celebrities without their makeup, vulnerable and brittle with age. And just as greasy.
