A pregnant pause over at Baskin-Robbins
It's tough to know what to make of Baskin-Robbins' soft-serve promotion planned for this Wednesday that promises to turn “hump day” into “bump day.” From Brandweek: “Pregnant women will be treated to a free 3-oz. cup or cone at 1,000 select stores.” Wags might suggest that since the women are pregnant, hump day has already passed. But that kind of sophomoric humor wouldn’t fly here on AdFreak. If I were B-R, I’d keep some extra soft serve and mix-ins on hand. A full queue of frozen-dessert craving pregnant women will not be denied! And you just know one will go into labor and name the kid “Baskin” or “Robin.” Or claim to, in exchange in for a lifetime supply of free ice cream.
