He is not yet a blogger, but Pope Benedict XVI is slowly getting in touch with the tech world. Catholic News Service is reporting that the cutting-edge souls at Vatican Radio have given the Pope a lovely new iPod nano, loaded with special Vatican Radio programming and classical music. Upon receiving the gift, the pope “was said to have replied, ‘Computer technology is the future.’” That Pope, always with his finger on the pulse. The iPod is engraved with the words, “To His Holiness, Benedict XVI,” in Italian, but is not signed by any members of U2.
