P&G's Dawn enlisted to clean animals again

Dawn1

This 2009 spot for Dawn dishwashing soap has unfortunate resonance in the wake of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Now, we're hearing that P&G is shipping thousands of bottles of Dawn to the region to help clean the wildlife. Something tells me local conditions won't allow for duck and otter cleaning in sterile, well-equipped labs. Bummer. I tried to cheer myself up by checking out Dawn's state-by-state wildlife donation map, but I've spent more money on groceries than Maryland has on scrubbing cute animals with dish soap. Double bummer. At least now I know what to clean myself with if I ever fall into the Chesapeake Bay. Via Homadge.
