Recently we wrote about Marmite’s unveiling a new squeezable bottle (a huge innovation for the grody/yummy black paste), backed by a $6 million ad campaign from DDB London. Ads of the World has now posted Marmite’s new TV commercial, showing a guy with a broken arm trying to get the last scrapings out of his Marmite jar. Then the wife comes home, and it only gets worse. It’s reasonably enjoyable slapstick, but shouldn’t they be trying for a commercial that people will either really love
