In perhaps the most tragically ironic CEO anti-testimonial ever, the U.K. millionaire who acquired Segway last year died today on the grounds of his English estate when he rode one of the two-wheel motorized scooters off a cliff and into a river. Jim Heselden survived toiling in coal mines in his younger days, but he couldn't survive his Segway. Now, if there's any cosmic justice, this tragedy should end any remaining consumer interest in these wobbly death-cycles once and for all.
