Nothing Picks You Up Like a Japanese Ad for Choco Balls Candy oddvertising at its best

Japan needs to have its own Advertising Week, so we can all lounge around for days watching crazy commercials. Candy oddvertising is well entrecnched over there, judging by these ads for Choco Balls chocolate-covered peanuts. There are eight floating Choco Balls in the ads, but they're played by only two actors—a comedy team who are evidently well known in Japan. The song is typical Japanese ad fare—i.e., you'll be humming it until you yourself go crazy. As for the balls? According to reports, the chocolate envelops a wafer, which in turn coats the nut. They're apparently quite tasty. One more spot after the jump. Via WTF Japan Seriously.
