The Noid Makes 8-Bit Return in Domino's Facebook Game Classic character giving away free pizzas

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Noid, the irksome and hyper Domino's character who was best avoided in TV commercials that began airing in 1986. To celebrate, Domino's has brought the character back—on Facebook. He's the star of a new Facebook game from Crispin Porter + Bogusky called Noid's Super Pizza Shootout. The game involves shooting pizzas, though not, unfortunately, shooting the Noid (which would probably be un-PC, even though he's annoying as hell). To honor the retro character, the game also has a classic 8-bit look that you know and love from '80s videogames. You must like the Domino's Facebook page to play. (As of 10 a.m. ET on Monday, Domino's had 3,293,203 Facebook fans. It's added almost 100,000 new fans since then.) To sweeten the pot, the chain is giving away a pizza every minute this whole week to the current high scorer—10,080 pizzas in total—which you may or may not consider a decent reward.
