When I first saw the ads for Reebok EasyTone, I thought it was a funny product suitable for infomercial land. The entire premise is laughable: Ladies can firm their legs and butts without the hassle of actual exercise. No, instead they just need to do their normal walking in magic
shoes
. Turns out both Reebok and Sketchers, which makes category leader
Shape-Ups, were onto a $1 billion market. Never underestimate the potential
for a quick fix.
