New Yorkers are already complaining about the city’s cartoony new tourism campaign, saying it makes our town look like a theme park (which parts of it are, of course). On the other hand, the ads probably look quite excellent if you’re stoned, so how bad can they be? It is sad, toward the end, to see Yankee Stadium with its pepperoni infield. They should have known better—the ad broke Oct. 10, a date beyond which the Yankees haven’t lasted in three seasons.
