I’ve never been very interested in taking the Tokyo subway. The thought of being pushed into a car by people paid to do so is a bit much. But now I’m even less interested. What, pray tell, does any of this have to do with Britney Spears on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar? It appears the officials who run the Tokyo subway are now permitting the magazine to run a poster of this cover (which is being published for the October issue in Japan) within the system, reversing an earlier decision that it was “overly stimulating.”
