Mutant dog helps sell new Kodak camera
Kodak gets the award for creepiest advertising image of the week, using this frightening mutant dog to sell its new dual-lens EasyShare V570 camera. In the world of photography, a camera with two lenses, one above the other, is apparently some sort of breakthrough. In the world of genetics, though, this would seem to be a pretty major step backward. When I saw this image in a magazine over the weekend, I actually wondered if the camera were somehow engineered specifically to photograph freaks of nature. Or maybe the dog, with his unexpected and special face, is supposed to be the one taking the pictures. It’s just disturbing all around.
