The New York Post reports this morning that a star-studded musical lineup, including Madonna, Iggy Pop and Billie Joe Armstrong will appear in the new campaign to promote the new iTunes/Motorola cell phone, which is expected to be officially unveiled in San Francisco this coming Wednesday. (The Post erroneously reports that Ogilvy & Mather is the agency; it’s actually BBDO, which handles Cingular, the carrier for the phone.) OK, good. But take a gander at the product’s name: Rokr.
