According to Fark, this Carlsberg spoof ad is the best beer commercial of all time. Not sure I agree. As a general rule, spoofs aren’t high-concept. But the punch line here is just a guy getting hurt, which happens a lot in real commercials. The first half of every Super Bowl is filled with ads where people get hit by cars, buses, satellites, what-have-you. For my money, the best fake beer ad ever is the SNL Schmitt’s Gay commercial. And as far as real ads go, this one is near the top of my list.
