The activist organization Wakeupwalmart.com, which is not devoted to making sure Wal-Mart employees are more alert on the job (logo pictured here), has started its 2006 holiday campaign, hoping that people will send holiday postcards to their friends urging them to push Wal-Mart to change its business practices. Now, in some ways, this is all well and fine, as even most devoted Wal-Mart shoppers can admit that the company has had its share of stumbles when it comes to fantastic employee policies, but, jeez, the sending of holiday cards to issue highly politicized statements? I’m sure that this holiday season, my friends really want to hear me expound upon what I really think of Wal-Mart.
