By now, you may have read about the town in Texas that has renamed itself Dish, so that it’s 125 residents could get free satellite service from Dish Network, but the town-rebranding trendlet ain’t over yet. According to this story, the town of Santa, Idaho, is thinking of renaming itself secretsanta.com, after a site that bills itself as “the Secret Santa gift exchange event planner.” According to the secretsanta site, the company has a Plan B if Santa doesn’t take the bait: it will form its own new town in Benewah County, Idaho and name that Secret Santa.
