The seaside town of Torbay in southwest England is declaring victory over dog poop after launching a poster campaign that depicts children eating it. The ads are distasteful in every sense of the word, but they worked, apparently, as the town’s fittingly named community service councilman, Dave Butt, claims that “dog mess” offenses have fallen by more than half since the campaign’s debut in April. Butt also says there have been no complaints about the posters, which is shocking.
