Remember the rotary phone? That extinct piece of equipment took too long to dial, so we got the push-button phone. Then getting up to change the channel on the TV became too much of a hardship, so we got the remote control. Technology can be a wonderful thing (think science), unless it helps to make us fat and lazy.

Consider this: Sony has developed technology so that if we get hungry playing our video games we needn’t even bother getting up (or reaching over more likely) to dial the phone to order food; instead we can simply place our order via that magical little gaming box.
