Jim Morrison’s recruitment video for FSU

Here’s a pre-famous, pre-fat and pre-dead Jim Morrison appearing in a 1964 ad for Florida State University. Turns out Jimbo went to FSU for a couple of years before transferring to UCLA, where he traded in his clean-cut image to become one of the most decadent rock stars of his era (no small accomplishment). Had Morrison been exposed to a good Christian school, like the one Russell Crowe used to advocate, maybe history would have been different. Alas, no rock stars went to my alma mater, Gettysburg College. The most we can say is that one of our alums is running for president. Too bad he’s the crazy one. Via Neatorama.
