Jarhead tagline is pretty good, too

Jarhead_1We recently nominated The Aristocrats for movie tagline of the year so far (“No nudity. No violence. Unspeakable obscenity”). But after getting our first glimpse of the Jarhead movie poster, we may have to revise that. The film, directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty) and based on Anthony Swofford’s memoir of fighting the first Gulf War, is using the line “Welcome to the suck”—which sounds about right for an adaptation of a book Publisher’s Weekly called a “witty, profane, down-in-the-sand account of the war.” We can’t wait for the trailer.
