IT guys, now armed and dangerous
It ain’t easy being the IT guy, always getting picked on and criticized by every clueless tool in the office. But the IT guy gets a measure of revenge in a new online game called Being IT, created by Modem Media for IT job-postings site Dice.com. You move around a virtual office, where business managers bitch at you mercilessly. Your stress level rises to the boiling point, but then suddenly you’re given the option of attacking your tormenter with a jelly-donut bazooka, a head-shrinking gun or a pizza launcher. The tagline is, “Does your job suck? Find one that doesn’t. Go to Dice.com.” Why does this site make us even more wary of IT people?
