iPod ad songs: a catalog of catchiness

Ipodfeist If you’ve got a short snippet of hip music stuck on repeat in your brain, chances are it’s from an iPod TV spot. The newest one, a nice mellow break from the usual dance-club fare, is “1234” by Feist. (You can see the ad here and the music video over here.) For your retrospective convenience, a Canadian site has even started a list of iTunes links for most of the songs featured by Apple over the years. Also worth a look is the blog iPoor’s collection of ad clips — including the first-ever iPod commercial from the days before silhouettes reigned supreme.
