Indianapolis adman is bullish on Plague 2.0
Things aren't so great now. Reading The New York Times is an adventure. If it's not the global economic meltdown, the Times brings us up close and personal with families living in motels and former executives cleaning toilets. We could all use a dose of optimism. David Young, co-founder of Indianapolis agency Young & Laramore, has some in the form of an animated story he's created at aplagueyear.com. Young recounts how 1665 was inarguably worse than today, and how the bad conditions led to the breakthroughs by Isaac Newton while trapped on his family farm. Young thinks we can see the same type of breakthroughs today. Let's hope we get the breakthroughs without the epidemic of incurable disease.
