Heineken lets you design your own six-pack

The customization movement continues apace. Why not personalize that most cherished of possessions, the six-pack of beer? Heineken is doing just that in Ireland with a NikeID-for-beer type application. It lets users pick a bottle design, put a personal message on it and upload their photo to the label. Sounds super. The downside: It's going to cost you to impress your friends this way. Heineken is selling the customized six-packs for a cool €30, or $36. AKQA is responsible for the app.
