Mahatma Gandhi’s family is trying to force an Australian restaurant called Handi Ghandi to stop using the Indian spiritual leader’s name and image to sell its curry. The company sells a wide range of curries, including beef, which is forbidden to Hindus. Handi Ghandi’s Web site reportedly features a line-drawing of Gandhi holding what appears to be an American-style Chinese takeout box and a jingle wherein a man sings, “I am Handi Ghandi, eat my curries.”
