Game maker quotes worst critic in new ads
Web comic maker Penny Arcade is quoting an unlikely person in its latest ads: an Internet troll who hates everything the company does and anyone who buys its products. The ad above, for a Penny Arcade game called On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, features the mad ramblings of one Denis DuckFat (hopefully not his real name), who reportedly has stalked gaming boards for years, not making friends along the way. Another ad reads, “Penny arcade sucks and is unfunny. please murder penny arcade and then yourself if you disagree with me.” DuckFat was apparently made aware of the campaign in the past few days. Sticking to his guns, he posted a note online Wednesday that read, “Penny Arcade still sucks.”
