Fighting high gas prices with ad tattoos

Va., is taking a nod from the cash-strapped mom and auctioning off his head as ad space ... to combat rising gas prices. If we didn’t know better, we’d say he hasn’t quite thought this idea through. In fact, he has an intricate plan. He says he will put the proceeds from his eBay auction into buying a more fuel-friendly vehicle than his Subaru. Which isn’t a terrible idea—it’s just an awfully roundabout way to do it, especially when the cost is branding himself with a corporate logo. Maybe he should stick with his original idea: a tattoo “making a statement against how high gas prices have gotten.”
