FairPoint's Bundle craves your sweet loving

Cross a mutant helper monkey with Alf, then toss in some elements of ET and Star Trek's Tribbles, and you've got the FairPoint Bundle, a fluffy little creature introduced by Maine-based ad agency Via in its first work for the cable company. The spots promote bundled Internet, phone and TV services. Viewers are encouraged to "Love your Bundle," which is fast, reliable, fun to curl up with and works during a power outage. Frankly, I don't trust the furry suck-up. He's snuggling way too close to that babe on the sofa, and it's just a matter of time before he sets those flashlight eyeballs on kill. Still, at least he's on the job, unlike a certain cable company that shall remain nameless. OK, it's Comcast. A while back, I scheduled a service call between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., but they never showed. Oh sure, I steal my cable, but still, a little customer service couldn't hurt, contract notwithstanding. UPDATE: Also check out the second spot in the campaign.
