European Foot Locker Ad Has a Real Foot Fetish (NSFW?) Sex sells sneakers in weird new spot
Here in America, Foot Locker has been doing quirky, artsy advertising lately. Over in Europe, they're doing smut. The spot below, by Another Film Co., posted front and center on the Foot Locker Europe homepage, is probably NSFW—at least, it's uncomfortable for work—as it shows people having truly sensual experiences slipping on their sneakers. The female Foot Locker employee at the end, who looks to be about 16, appears mortified. As part of the campaign, the company is asking people to send in photos of what their "sneaker thing" is. They may end up getting a whole lot of this. Via Illegal Advertising. UPDATE: It's been pointed out that Foot Locker Europe did a spanking-themed spot last year—which we actually covered, though clearly we've tried to block it out.
