England looks at gamers for its next spies

Spies_2 Something seems a bit off about openly stating your intentions to recruit spies by placing ads in video games. But that’s what England is doing, using Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Double Agent to widen its applicant pool. “We find increasingly we have to use less conventional means of attracting people,” says a spokeswoman, and she’s probably right, but she forgets that The Last Starfighter was just a movie. Still, best of luck to them. Let me know if anyone’s looking for crack GTA: San Andreas players to lead ethnic sensitivity seminars.
